Wasted by a Skyline??

Absolutely not funny!!
My RS4 was conclusively beaten on a contest of speed this evening. At a speed where let’s just say inertia would not play a huge part a skyline undertook me and proceeded to leave me like I’d thrown an anchor out of the window.
My car is not slow with MTM stage 1 tuning circa 420 BHP and recently proved a solid match for a Tuscan S, so no apparent problems??
So what went wrong….? To make matters worse a girl racer was the driver…..( To be honest I approve of that

)
OK the Skyline was an R33 GTR-V Spec and clearly not in standard tune….. but why such a gap…… ????
Any thoughts

ooooh dear, not good news at all mate but skylines can be tuned very easy to 600 hp and some times to 1000hp.
i would say she was using NOZ,if the gap was as u described.
THANK GOD GIRLS DONT DRIVE HERE.

BETTER YET,SKYLINES R NOT ALOWED HERE AS THEY ONLY COME
AS R/H STEERING

Like the man said you'll have to do some serious stage 3+ tuning to match a highly tuned skyline
But don't forget you've still got the upper with 5 doors.. he/she can't even fit his cat in the back!

Good excuse to go for stage 3 then
But there will always be a faster (standard & modified) car out there.
That skyline must be packing some serious wallop though.

Indeed, Skylines are a quic car and it is hard to tell how quick or how modified
Have beaten some and then had some that are a match, never lost - YET!!!

My Mrs got marginally beaten in the RS by one out of the Dartford tolls a couple of weeks back - I was following in my brother in laws car and was pretty alarmed by the way they both hooked it up and flew out at serious pace

Of course it was all put into perspective when the Skyline driver spent the whole of the tunnel listening to his exhaust and dump valve
Cheers

Skylines can be tuned to silly levels....
here is the website of a mate of mine, some of the earlier vids will be more relevant to this discussion (when the car was still road rego'ed)

Record for 0-300km/h is 13.00s. Sick.
GTR-700 - Stage 2 - Pro-GTR drag specifications:
Current power: Greater than 1,000kW (~1,350 BHP) at 3.0 Kg/cm2
Current weight: 1,350 Kg (~2,972 lbs) as raced with fuel and driver
Best result: 9.75 @ 141 mph on first ever shake down pass, using only 1.5 Kg/cm2 boost and 10,500 rpm rev limit (only ~800 BHP)

yeah man.. those car can be tuned as he**... as previously said they can easily go to 1250hp.. in my opinion, not a car to race with.. unless you´re in Portugal.. here there are lot´s of car with tuning, but it´s all exterior. Tthey have 106´s and Citroêns Saxo equipped with a stupid looking guy, neons, a big aileron and some stupid looking 14" wheels, and the inside, the powerfull 75hp stock engine... can´t wait to get my "family wagon" and smoke this guys.. eheh
