What should be, or is the average mpg for a 468bhp RS4 at this time of year?
I am having trouble getting more than 200 miles from a full tank, even when not giving it large potatoes.
Is this normal, what are you getting?

Thats about right for the MTM 458 chip, the fueling is high on those chips, so if you want better fuel comsumption look at Revo or AmD they seem to be better at that, but less of a Kick in the back with torque.
Cheers

Hi John,
Thanks, no I do not want better mpg, in turn for less torque or power, I can live with filling the tank up every 200 miles.
Thanks,

Standard car, reasonable driving on motorway, I get about 22 mpg, drive it the way it was designed and you get 5.5 mpg
I did once get 245 miles from a tank, it was a very cold frosty night and I was sitting at 50-60 on the M6 for hours

If the DIS is accurate then I'm getting 273 miles per tank average (62ltr/4.5 * 19.8MPG). I don't ever fill up, run out, fill up etc, just bung £25 in here and £20 in there.
I feel the DIS is a tad optimistic

Ben,is yours standard or did you keep the AmD/sportec remap?
I'm getting 22mpg with a mixture of driving. Just curious as looking to remapped in near future, so will I be under 20mpg?
Edit: oops your profile says no mods

Same for me - 23mpg and ~280miles per tank (standard car).
That is with 60% motorway work, but cruising at - err - well - erm..... - Well nothing overtakes me anyway
Surprisingly my fuel consumption goes UP when I get off the motorway. First car that's ever happened in
Btw, I don't fill up when the miles left reads zero - I normally go to about 280 miles (computer normally says zero at about 260 to 270 miles), and always seem to have 4 or 5 litres left.

I'm getting anywhere between 19mpg and 22mpg; Having had the std car and now the MTM version; the consumption varies most on a 'long runs on Motorways / A roads. I would get up to 30mpg on the std car, 22mpg MTM. Around town, they are both as bad as each other!
Although, am working over in Boston at the moment and the 'septic tanks' are moaning that their fuel is $1.60 gallon.....if only in the UK!!!!!!
