I have just bought an Atlas Silver RS4 from Germany tuned by MTM (420HP) and it`s arriving to Finland in a couple of weeks. I´m so excited I just want to thank you guys because this forum has been a great source of information when I was searching for the right car for me... First I thought of buying new S4 but I wanted to go all the way and decided to buy an RS4! Right now I´m driving with Volvo V70 T5 320hp but it´s so boring I also have Audi A4 1.8T in the garage with a little bit body modifications done.
Has anyone driven RS4 in real winter conditions with lots of snow and ice like here in Finland? I´m also searching for winter alloys but not sure is it ok to use alloys with ET 35? The car is already fitted with 15mm spacers by MTM...

Thanks! Doors open from the inside, and it´s pretty easy Yeah, I really like the looks of my Audi A4 but it`s all show -no go type of car and my Volvo is boring Swedish tractor, no more Volvos for me! Here is a picture of my new RS4, more pictures when I get the car...

Let´s see how shiny it is after a boat trip from Germany to Finland? Here is another picture of my shiny RS4 As you can see there is grey anodized windows in my car, looks great!

Moi Olio!
Which part of Finland are you from? I just got back from a week in Lahti (my other half is Finnish).
I would love to hear how you get on with a RS4 in Finnish conditions. I have a huge respect for the driving skills of Finnish people who have to cope with conditions that 95% of UK drivers would consider undriveable. When we arrived in Finland the temperature was 0C and some rain had half-melted the snow. Within two days it was -20C and the rain / snow mix had frozen very nicely to make most non-motorway roads like ice rinks. But still everyone copes!
The secret seems to be 1. Always brake in a straight line 2. Go easy on the power when taking off - which I am curious to know how you're going to cope taking it easy on the loud pedal with a new RS4 to play with!
Anyway, good luck with the car and welcome to the forum!
Steve
