Who knows the difference in turbos:

1. MTM RS4 - +18hp; about 1700€
2. Sportec RS.460 - +10hp; about 1700€
3. RS6 turbos - + ?; about 2000€

I think that first 2 are the same KKK, difference is only in ECU program. But what about RS6 ???

RS6 turbos are also KKK's, what's more I think their called K04s too.... but they've got slightly bigger compressor part...

What I've findout about:
1. K04 (Original) - 0.21kg/s
2. K04.460 by Sportec.
They makes themselfs at own laboratory. Claim 460hp with exhaust and chip, and 485hp with intercoolers and turbos. Intercoolers they claim +15hp. So, they increase boost for +10hp after installing new turbos.
3. K04 by MTM. 458hp with original and 476hp with changed turbos. It makes +18hp (boost +1.8?). Maximum boost for this turbos +2.32 for 510hp version (a lot of add changes).
4. RS6 - I know nothing
5. K24 - 0.30Kg/s. No any ideas what it is.

Ok Grigori, see where you're coming from. Sportec and MTM gas flow the K04's for high end bhp. Actually mine came out of Zurich with 466bhp (turbos, chip, downpipes and cat back) - which is the RS460 conversion. Supposedly the turbo mods are part of this conversion so not sure why it would be advertised seperately. And when we bolted on the Sportec intercoolers in the UK, only got 480bhp (with a full remap) .

The gas flowing by both these parties enables the turbo to flow slightly more bhp, but IMHO paying for it seperate is a complete waste of money. Like I said, the Sportec RS460 conversion includes the turbo gas-flow (although you wouldn't want to see the bill for it )

Also the peak flat max boost on both Sportec and MTM is around 1.5bar, although MTM do have an initial (safe ) overboost to around 1.7bar to get the low down torque figures increased.

Mine are now running the hybrid K04's with Mitsubishi Grp A compressor housings and are flowed to 286bhp each. Just shows what can be achieved with these beauties

Andy

And can you contact with me (grisha@postman.ru) about Trev NOS kit (if you have one). Cause I can't config it in right way to get power.
