Verkline rear subframe bushes

Hi B5 hive mind.
I recently purchase the Verkline full rear subframe bush refresh kit from Wotmotorsport.
upon installation it was very obvious there was an unusual amount of play in the lower rear arm bushes. Having triple checked this with the workshop doing the work and WM as well as Verkline themselves, it has been confirmed the installation is correct. So I'm at a loss and so is everyone else. Has anyone had this experience? Or have you had issues with installing these bushes?
Driving on a flat straight road is fine, the moment there is any undulation or dips or just uneven surface and the back end feels like it’s on jelly.
I am waiting to hear back from Verkline directly, and so far communication has been great, but I fear that there may be a fault with the bush/material. And I’m just trying to line up some options.
Lots of the OE are NLA or
Out of stock, which is where I’d probably go to, rather than trying a powerflex alternative.
