Disks replaced
Anyone else had front disks replaced under warranty?
Re: Disks replaced
Didn't know you could...
Mine need changing, but I thought I'd have to foot the bill (they are worn, not warped)

Re: Disks replaced
Mine are badly warped, I saw a couple on RS4.org got them replaced under warranty just wasn't sure there was a problem with them (assumed not).
Re: Disks replaced
Do you think the thrashing you gave them at Castle Coombe has got anything to do with it?

Re: Disks replaced
Well I just heard the original owner had them replaced at 4k as well

Re: Disks replaced
Perhaps it's time to upgrade then??
Those bright red calipers and drilled disks do look good
....then I could buy your RS4 calipers and put them on my S4
Eveyone's a winner!!

Re: Disks replaced

You interested in a brand new set of front RS4 brakes then?
Re: Disks replaced
Yeah could be.
If they would offer a significant improvement over the S4 ones.
Presumably though I'd need new disks because yours are warped (or were you going to have them replaced before the swap?)
If the price/ level of improvement struck a good balance, then yes I'd be very interested.
....I'm assuming of course that they'd fit behind my 17" Avus alloys?

Re: Disks replaced
AFAIK the RS4's are a big improvement over the S4's but I'm sure someone else can confirm.
The plan would obviously to get the disks replaced then sell the whole lot to you
No idea on price though

Re: Disks replaced
Probably best to auction them to the highest bidder...
They've got to be worth a few hundred though I would think.

Yeah I forgot to ask Scott at Autosport show that

Re: Disks replaced
The struts are swopped across when MoVits are fitted, otherwise you have to pay £600 for new ones
.
Only Problem is if you sell the car they must be sold on it.
