Hello there.
I have done some track driving with my RS4 but it gets pretty hot pretty quickly.
After a couple of laps the water temperature is starting to creep up also.
I'm betting there are others with the same issue? What have you done to solve it?
I emailed MRC but haven't had a response yet, i'm guessing they have reduced staff with the new year and so on.
It would be helpful to get some more input also.

Maybe the Rad needs cleaning or replacing . with age they do get build up which slows the flow through , also check or just routine replace the thermostat it may be blocked or sticking as well ./ avoid using the aircon on track as that increases temp as well .

Humm good ideas and good feedback the car is abit old now so it could be that a new radiator would be an idea. Perhaps a aftermarket one and then an aftermarket oilcooler also?
If i want to change to a cooler termostat are there anyone that has done so already and can chip in with the results?
Also am i the only one having this issue?
Edit:
Could this fit perhaps?

Try a full alloy radiator. I use a CSF Radiator 7071 and you need a separate gearbox oil cooler. A 80 or 87 degree thermostat may also help.

I'm guessing it's your oil temp that's pushing the water temp up. The lower pipes are known for corrosion so you may as well replace it with a better/bigger version ... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/232751603156

Awesome, seems to be for s4 though? Aren’t the rs4 oil cooler connected to the rs4 radiator?
Perhaps a more efficient radiator will make the stock oil cooler work better?
I’ve heard about people getting a gearbox cooler do you have any suggestions?
Awesome tips! Really nice

The RS4 engine oil cooler is in front of the radiator, the Gearbox oil cooler is in the side of the radiator, just like an automatic. You can use the OE engine oil cooler or an aftermarket unit with the alloy radiator but you would need a separate gearbox oil cooler.
