Hi Guys,
So the cover flip lid on my B5 RS4 Cigarette lighter trim is tacky and chipping/peeling.
Wondering if anyone has face the same problem and has a DIY solution or not.
Otherwise if they know where to buy a new replacement?

Try using tamaya black model paint in a can . People have used it to paint the heater buttons on b7 rs4 and say it's a very good match with a slight ' rubbery ' touch.

This is a very cheap and easy fix and worked on my car. Use methylated spirits on a cotton cloth and carefully wipe over the rubberised surface of the trim. The rubber starts to melt slightly and chips and scratches disappear and it gives an as new appearance. If it is very badly pitted then re-apply until smooth, when the surface has dried it should leave it without a sticky touch. You can use thinners but be very careful as this will strip surfaces in no time.
