Rears require quite a bit of modification, and from what I've seen on a few other threads, most say it's not worth the hassle

The rear brake mod is on here somewhere. The mounting bolts are bigger on the B7s and you need to scollop/grind out the hub a little so that the bolts clear the hub, otherwise you need to remove it which is a big job. Maybe you could sleeve the calipers and use the smaller bolt? I don't know.
I was recently going to do the rear brake mod as I have a spare set of rear B7 discs and calipers but I'm concerned about the longer pedal travel with the stock master cylinder. I think you are already increasing piston area on the front and the backs are bigger again so maybe just doing the fronts is better. I don't think the pedal feel on the OEM brakes is not that good as is.
Also the rear B7 rotor is 324mm versus the b5 312mm (so only 6mm increase in radius). Calipers look pretty much identical except the B7 is a bit larger.
So maybe the extra work and expense for minimal gain is not worth it for the rear brake mod given these cars are already heavily brake biased to the front and there is really no aesthetic improvement, unlike with the Movit or other similar 4 piston rear brake upgrade.

I have them on my B5 and honestly I can only echo what don has said . It's not worth the hassle imho for the gains achieved ( if there is any ) ? Apart from matching drilled discs the only other positive is they look good when they've got the calliper plate from a B8 RS4 fitted .
