So gradually pulling the wiring , established that there is no connection to central locking controller, through Vagcom.
But have power to the window motor, but no feed to the switch via small red grey,, tracked it to a collective of the same and the feed is from connector block at the drivers kick panel,which is fed by small black and yellow , and returns to a collection of 5 black and yellows , of which one goes to the central block of the central locking controller in the boot, powering this up gives me windows and sunroof,, but there is already power to the plug via a thicker black yellow,
stop me if this is confusing,,,so is the smaller wire a return feed to the doors from the control unit ,, i have tried a [good] used unit with the same part no , but there is no difference , still no central or windows , anyone got experince,,,

had similar with mk4 golf-was the drivers door module

tbh trial and error plus a bit of historical knowlege-i didnt have the equipment then that i have now[solus pro,vag com etc] everything comfort related seemed to go through there-99 golf

on a different note , car came with the original soft wheels , cracked and /or buckled , what to do ,, weight them in?,
still no further on, but is there a control module under the passenger front foot well?[ not the seat]
