What's wrong with these cars?

Post by birdiemachine » Sun Feb 05, 2017 2:45 pm

I am currently after a mint b5 and it's proving extremely hard to find unmolested, genuine examples.

These two have been for sale with the one dealer for a very long time, does anyone here know any history on the two vehicles? I am from Northern Ireland and just wondering if anyone has a heads up as I wasted a lot of time and money flying to England to look at b7's which were mostly crap before I got mine.

Cheers

Yeah those two have been for sale forever. Gotta be something off about them.

Strange, thought Nick Johnson had a good reputation.
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!

Avus sold quite a while back.
Black been up for quite a while now as previously stated.Original unmolested B5's are pretty rare these days,
Good luck in your search, might be worth a look over on SRS as there are plenty of B5 owners on there.

Someone went to view the black car recently. The bodywork is terrible on it from their report, excessive rust, trim missing inside the vehicle, the downpipes are badly damaged and blowing. That's all I can remember off the top of my head.
