Thought some of you guys might be interested in my exterior CREE LED upgrade. The CREE LED reverse lights really provide a lot more light to see what is at the back. I measured the lumens and they are 3.5 x's brighter than stock.
I have a spare set if anyone is interested.
I also have two CREE festoon LEDs for the number plate but hard to show that in a photo.
I'm going to use the fogs and park lights as DRLs. The parks are kind of tinsy but work well with the fogs. They all use CREE LEDs so are extra bright and reliable and easy plug and play with no canbus error or wiring modifications required.

RS4 Exterior CREE LED Upgrade: Park, Fogs & Reverse Light
I'm not sure you can run fogs as drl. It's 3points and £60 fine for having fogs on when visibility is less than 50m I think. You'll get pulled by an arsey copper and he'll do you. Replacing the bulbs doesn't change their legal status as fogs. So I'd be careful of running them all the time.

I'm in NSW Australia so its not a problem to run them during the day. Everyone does it.
At night can be an issue but you can always turn them off in traffic at night. Still good to use on dark roads.
Though not really any fog in my part of the world.
I run even brighter LEDs on my E91:
