Certainly there where a lot of guys around with Sussex Performance Centre on their shirts moving cars around. The big problem with the side mount intercooler cars is there was one fan so your first run was always going to be the best. Given that they almost certainly did the same thing to your run as to mine (look for Shoot 6F on the print-out) we can ask for a refund.

No problem....I was a little annoyed so didn't hang around. Might be an idea to see if Sussex PC will re-run the cars and we could meet up...

Try Surrey Rolling Road. Never read a bad word about them. Dyno Dynmaics dyno and Charlie posts on a few forums including Pistonheads (vixpy I think) and seems very knowledgeable. He's featured in magazines too - I think one did a blind test of some sort and he came out best for estimating power.

Think 6F is fine 4 an rs4 b5.
Dyno sounds like it was broken.
The WHP is the one to look for got 518 from mine on Shoot 6F.

You got 518BHP Wheel HP from your B5 !!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow. Tha must be 650ish at the crank.

Sadly my graph doesn't show WHP just 399.2 at the crank.

Charlie at surrey RR has done all my dyno runs. All have been in Shoot_44 mode.

Give him a call, he's a top guy who i'm sure would be happy to help.

Yeap I've been to see Charlie on a number of occasions. Shoot_44 is the important bit.

It's odd as Flashy got very good results on this setting but you didn't Jeff. Of course flashys results could have been down on power too and he's actually running 700+!

It would be interesting to know how the difference settings calculate power and drive train losses.

I've spoken to Sussex Performance Centre and they realised their error as soon as I've questioned shoot_6F. They are prepared to re-run the car foc. The car made 333 at the wheels in shoor_6f so there appears to be more to it than just the losses. The guy I spoke to confirmed that all the Audis that ran where down in power.

brucey bonus Jeff, nice work :)

When you say all the audi's were down on power does that mean, all were read incorrectly and thus lower than they should be, or all are down on power (due to possible fault) AND read too low allowing for the Shoot_6F?

All of the 4wd drive cars where measured incorrectly. Don't know if your car is down on power because of a fault but certainly the results from the RR are wrong.
