Is this not a forum where people's experience, contributions & opinions good or bad inform all owners/potential owners of the many areas of Audi ownership :kissmyrings: :?:

Are we not all better placed to evaluate any auto-provider and enhance our ownership experience based on the discussions on this and other forums. :?: Indeed, the tuners who have an interest in service and customer feedback, could do worse than addressing those comments made here, which have any validity. :bigwave:

"There is even a lad on here with an tuned RS4 with over a 150K miles on the clock! bigwave"

Oh I've not been called a lad in years

Anyway yes, I have 'tuned' RS4 with noe 160+K miles under her belt.

I love debates like this so thought as I have done before I would add my 2p's worth. I am certainly at the 'micky' end of the scale when it comes to funding. I initially wanted an S4 but managed to strech to an RS4 when JonP's high miler arived at £22K a couple of years ago :boohoo: (since then I seem to have spent that and more, but thats another story - 0% credit cards :jump_clap: )

Initially I had a REVO remap at Dialynx, very happy with this although slightly concerned that it was installed a High Boost 9 and Timing 9. Simon had done some logging on VAG-Com and it proved that this code (on his car at least) was overboosting and the ECU was cutting it back. Hence I bought a SPS3 and Ran Low Boost % and Timing 5 for the rest of the time I had REVO. A really great point about REVO though is the wide range of settings and security measures available using the SPS3.

Anyway, I will make this short as I should be working. I decided it was time to get some more from the old girl, I wanted to go to the equivilent of stage III so considered the options. My car has more wear and tear on the engine from general use than any other car on the forum....FACT.

I decided that a generic STAGE III was simply not an option, I needed a custom remap that would be as gentle (a bit of a contridiction) on the engine as possible, well within tolerances. Also I was using completely decatted downpipes so wanted to take as much advantage of this as possible.

I spent several months researching my decision and decided MRC was THE ONLY way to go. Anyone who has experienced the hands on approach they offer will know what I am talking about. Also anyone who has sat next to Minhea will appriciate that his map is custom and you can ask him to map it to your driving style and how you want it. I agree though, a Rolling Road would make everything easier at MRC.

Simply trawl through the numerous posts on the subject and let me know if you have seen a bad MRC review yet.

I am very happy with my car now, and am confident that I have taken the correct path using MRC.

I hope that this helps feed this discussion and that discussions like this are
boyant on our forum.

If kept at a mature level they can only help boost the knowledge base and help people make informed decisions.

As already discussed my poor experience at Haywards Heath wouldn't get me anywhere near there again.

Well, you did ask.

Fact is the longer you have been around the more services you deliver, the more experiences people get, the more the upset ones shout, and the happy ones get muted. Most startups begin on a good foot, and then the passion slowly dies as the the business takes over. Other ventures are just mutton dressed up as lamb, or worse still like a bit of dog doo that just won't go away.

Guys,

Don't remember any argument, I just posted that I'd had a 'bad experience' with that particular tuning house.

Never metioned, nor hinted, that others shouldn't use their services.

Each to his own :beerchug:

Let us see the dyno plot when you get it. Would like to see before and after plots and see what the torque curve looks like now.
