Wing mirrors gone!
saw these as well not sure they are the right ones as they dont have the black bit just under the front of the mirror.......however, i think they might be the folding ones seem to have the motor? i'd be wary of buying off ebay people nowadays are very economical with the truth in their descriptions...

still a P.I.T.A but if its any consilation at least the little paracites of society didnt do worse damage to your car or worse still relieve you of that as well!!

Please can someone cofirm what those mirrors are? rtd has now got me thinking.
As far as I can see he has dismantled the mirror and it's the alloy covers, the black bottom casing, the glass mirrors and the motor section for the electric glass movement.

Pretty sure that the RS6 mirror caps are different to the RS4.
Also didn't know you could seperate the alu mirror caps away from the mirror itself.

Mine weren't damaged! They ripped the casing off the bracket, look back at page 2 and see what I mean. The ones in this auction look identical to waht would have been left after rippin them off at the bracket.rickoshea wrote:The mirrors for sale on eBay do not look damaged to me.
