Several engine VAGCOM faults - some suggest serious.
cracked front and back bumper - LARGE, cracks, reversed into.
alloys ALL V Badly kerbed with dodge silver cover up marker pen
leather, blue stains in back seats (kids for sure) cracked, dull, drivers side almost black creases.
weird humming noise from centre console
back pads and disks both shot
LArge dent on bonnet above Audi badge
keyed boot, from tail to brake lights
passenger seat upholstery detached from seat.
Pulls to the left under braking........
No Log book (in the office apparently)
No bill for supposed new clutch
No new turbos (as promised)

I had a individual estoril blue e46 m3 convertible with hard top,it lasted 6 months, far to common and not too quick.
Well made car but loving the rs4 so much more.
Just my opinion
The thing with buying a rs4 is you have to pay for a good example unless your very lucky and someone is desperate.

Was an offer I couldn't refuse, 6S Manual coupe, Steel Grey, All possible option, hassle free, Mint and at a serious trade price. My sensible side coming out and it's still practical enough to ferry my daughter around .. Just

I know I'll regret not holding out for the RS4... c'est la vie.

Fair play mate I don't think anyone can say that an M3 isn't a great car just not got as much charisma as the RS4 imo and as said common as muck.

Still it will probably be a darn site cheaper to run in terms of maintenance and servicing but I may be proven wrong.

Off you pop over to the Bimmer forums, don't let the door slam on the way out :D

So funny... it's so true too.. ive got not business here at all, just an imposter now. .. Sad thing is I've looked for a decent M3 forum and they all seem to be full of plumbs making plum comments as the cars have about as much carisma as they do, I hope to be the exception :D

I shall gracefully retire... with the distinct possibility of a tumble weed following swiftly behind
