Looks like it had the black optics pack, hence the lack of shiney bitsrtd wrote:. Ableit could do with having the tints removed and the aluminium rails and door mirrors put back on.

did you go and see Nick's car? I assume not as you would have liked it "ALOT' plus it's a good place to go and see five or six differently specced RS's with low mileage.rtd wrote:I love these cars and want one desperately but there has to be some realism in the asking price....

In the current climate I don't think even the revised sticker price is realistic, I reckon theres about 5 grand in it for the dealer!
I bought mine from a dealer in Scotland with less miles 18 months ago with more spec than that, tinted windows, full leather and piano trim wouldn't be on my list anyway.... And I got a whole years warranty from a reputable company- unless he was prepared to come down to 22500-23000 I suspect that car will still be on the lot in a few months time unless he lucks out with a punter who either has too much cash or too little info on the state of the market.....

Chances are new turbos on the blue one as well, if the damage was caused by grounding the downpipes as suggested here:Nige_RS4 wrote:Doesn't say whether the turbos were changed - the engines are all but bullet-proof!It is a nice selling point I reckon to say it's got a new engine
