Looks like it had the black optics pack, hence the lack of shiney bits

I love these cars and want one desperately but there has to be some realism in the asking price....

Very true, but good clean cars are getting harder to find now that they can be bought by people whos, dare I say don't look after them properly. These are £50k cars new and have £50k car upkeep costs!

did you go and see Nick's car? I assume not as you would have liked it "ALOT' plus it's a good place to go and see five or six differently specced RS's with low mileage.

In the current climate I don't think even the revised sticker price is realistic, I reckon theres about 5 grand in it for the dealer!
I bought mine from a dealer in Scotland with less miles 18 months ago with more spec than that, tinted windows, full leather and piano trim wouldn't be on my list anyway.... And I got a whole years warranty from a reputable company- unless he was prepared to come down to 22500-23000 I suspect that car will still be on the lot in a few months time unless he lucks out with a punter who either has too much cash or too little info on the state of the market.....

It is a nice selling point I reckon to say it's got a new engine
Doesn't say whether the turbos were changed - the engines are all but bullet-proof!
Chances are new turbos on the blue one as well, if the damage was caused by grounding the downpipes as suggested here:

I almost bought the NJ Imola yellow car in March this year, and I see it is still there all these months later. I think he will be flexible on price -he was with me, but just not enough for the spec and history of that particular car for me.
