How on earth would you ground the car and bust the engine......... just so I don't inadvertently manage to do the same?!!
This sounds like what happened to Viperbl when he grounded his downpipes at high revs and the shock waves caused the turbo blades to fail - it's all too easy if you ask me as ground clearance is the worst thing about the B5 RS4 for me.

The details above show what a sham the Audi franchise system is in conjunction with Sytner and AUDI UK not only when it comes to complaints, but also in dealing with the problems with cars they sell to the public. It seems this is another case where AUDI have no power whatsoever over the behaviour of their dealerships and the treatment thereof of the customers buying their cars. This is an example where the actual business owner of an AUDI dealership should address the problem(s) at the outset and settle fairly but instead they are prepared to take the customer all the way to court, only to lose as they hope the customers will give up during this expensive, stressful and time-consuming procedure. I personally was not prepared to be one of these customers and after two years was proved correct and will be getting the car back following a £20,000 bill and legal fees to be paid by Sytner.

I have given AUDI West London’s owner (Mr. Ray Campbell) and even Sytner’s MD (Mr. Gerard Nieuwenhuys) plenty of opportunity in the last two weeks to apologise for their management of the case but have had no reply. I have now decided to try and make my case as public as possible.

I am looking to email some car journalist “Honest Johnâ€

The catch?
1. You have to deal with Fontain
2. Check out the colour difference between the front wing and the door/ A-pillar.
3. This is nit-picking but look at those number plates with the audi logos on them, tasty

Also it's a W reg and I have never seen a W reg that hasn't been an Audi UK press car in the past which usually means that a queue of people have tried to better the factory 0-60 time.

If you want to be specific and state facts than please do rather than inferring a garage is having 'difficulties' - I certainly haven't been made aware of this via this forum.
you can't have it both ways.
you either don't want people to bad mouth companies on the forum but you can't then use the lack of negative feedback on the forum as justification for giving the OP a hard time for voicing his opinion.

people search these forums for any and all details on businesses before letting them touch their pride and joy.
If I have had a poor experience I will voice it, if you choose to believe me over them that is your CHOICE.

That is the nature of free speech

personally I agree that 12 months to do an engine swap is unecessary.......just my opinion

It'd be nice to know the full reg when the cherished plate comes off, should end in 'WL'
