heard some poor stories about the EBC stuff.

will probably try out the mintex ones or go OEM pagid blacks

otherwise the choice is pretty limited i,e, no ferodo ds5200's

Hey Rick, Frazered,

Did either of you try the Mintex MDB1746 in the end? Any opinions?

And if not, what did you go for?

I'm in the boat of making the same decisions at the moment :-)

Based on the feedback here, I'm seriously considering trying out the EBC redstuff pads. £95 inc vat & deliv from http://www.brakes4u.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=DP31035C which is half the price of OEM pads from the stealers :beerchug:

i did not buy them in the end - the brakes are still sat in my workshop! must get them put on lol

i've had red stuff on the last two jap cars i had, both running 300bhp+ at the wheels and never had any problems with them, i will be using them on the rs4 when it gets time to replace the standard ones, the little extra in your pocket always comes in usefull. lol
done the jap thing, trying the euro thing!
