Looks bad Doug, but maybe that's the reaction you want? Silver finish would go better with the chrome mirrors / roofrails (I thought you were removing these?)

i don't have the chrome mirrors and rails - it is the brushed ones - but they are coming off when it goes for the paint. the pictures are not great for showing how it looks but i am not keen(i think) on the new fad of satin black wheels.

Gunmetal would look better but I think the problem is the multi spoke style, the Titan Silver (gunmetal) 5 spokes on RS6+ look ace!

the rs6 style wheel looks really bad on an rs4 - good in 19s on an s4 and look good on an rs6 - ashes RS4 used to have them on - not a good look!

Sorry Doug, I meant brushed! Are you getting the mirrors colour-coded green then?

I prefer these 20" wheels though

Its the cost of tyres that worries me though! Are they right offset or do you need spacers?

spacers on the S8s - but the bolt on spacers are fine - and H&R have dropped prices recently on them.

I don't think i would track the rs4 with 20s on just becasue of the price of tyres.

Looks good but I think would be better if your car had the black optics.

Given the silver rails and window surrounds I'd have stuck with Silver wheels and yes I can hear the ear bashing you are going to get already!!!!!! Or have you had it?

Did we ever get to the bottom of which wheel this was, and what car is on?

Those look like new s8 20" wheels.

If the black stays the silver goes.

I am supposed tobe getting a nother set of 20" S8 alloys - if i get them i will try them in silver.

I'll get the car cleaned and take some proper pictures for next week.
