Awesome work fella, well worth the time and effort IMHO. Can't wait to see it in the flesh.

Brave choice of colour as well, not sure I would have had the bo11ox. :)

Very nice, can i ask why people opt for the rear s4 bumper? Is it too much of a hassle fitting the RS4 1? Also, are you thinking of putting a more powerfull engine in there so those brakes can get some good use? I do love the coler and whats that, a carbon roof i see? 8)

Either RS4 or S4 bumper can be used. I feel the RS4 bumper on a sedan looks wrong, makes the rear end look too tall and heavy.

I've got a 2.7 Biturbo, code AGB, that I've re-built to 3.0, and running genuine RS4 heads (ebay.de) and RS4 MAF / airbox / Y-pipe and TB.

I'll be installing the engine, together with the DSY 6-speed box, later in the summer, to a cheap A4, just to get it all set up and running the way I want.

Once I'm satisfied, then I'll transfer the lot over to my car in a weekend. I don't want her to be off the road longer than she needs to be.

Main colour is Audi Inca Orange Pearl, looks a lot lighter under the workshop lights though. The roof isn't carbon, just painted in Black Pearl, same colour was used on the S4 rear bumper lip, as well as the B-pillar trims.

She'll be home on Tuesday, the glass was all tinted on Friday, so the rear screen blends with the roof.

Wow, thats what you call going all the way, im glad your putting a bigger engine in, what turbos are you fitting? I still like the black roof with orange pearl, shame it wont have the engine in for RS246live. What will be funny is if someone pulls up while you've still got the 2.6 engine in and smokes you, a few months down the line they try again and fail misserably when you got the 3 litre bi turbo!

Very true, Dave!

I've tried to make this as comprehensive an RS4 Sedan conversion as possible. I even ordered the stickers that fit in the fuel filler flap - the RS4 one with the tyre sizes and pressures, as well as the one for fuel octane rating.

I'll be using the wiring harness from a T-registered car, as I want to fit my facelift interior - switches, console, RSN-E (from Lithuania, very reliable chap, used him in the past) combined with a Kufatek wiring harness to adapt the lot, as the RNS-E was from a B6/7 car. My car also has the old-style key, but I've got the ECU, clocks and all locks from the donor car, a 99.5 S4 the engine came from, so replacing the ignition lock, and the glovebox to match. The remote will be coded to my new twin-vacuum central locking pump later.

Still working out the options, so I'm ordering a new data sticker for the boot, but it will read "Audi RS4 Sedan", have the new colour code (LOD2), new engine and transmission codes, all the options I've fitted, which include the Xenon headlamps, Satnav, suspension and whatever interior I end up with.

Ipswich Audi have been very helpful, and are willing to order me 2 new data stickers, once I've collated all the options, as well as the 2 bar code chassis numbers, that reside within the 2 front door shuts.

I've had the engine for over 5 years, and the box too.

Excellent effort and choice of colour IMHO.
There is a chap in Hastings that has a body shop and has done a similar conversion to a S4 - painted in Imola Yellow.
He's a regular down at Castle Combe / turns up with the chaps from dynalynx.

Thats cool that the dealer is going to get you those stickers.

Would they do that for any customer or is it just because you have got a good relationship with them now?

Not sure, the barcode ones and the data sticker ones, I had to press them with, as they have the chassis number on them.

But, they succumbed in the end.

Thats very interesting that your getting the data stickers, and chassis bar codes, with all your options/chassis no., etc.

Top effort on the car.....very brave move!
