I think the LM are such a classy wheel, every forum I have been on with various cars, the LM always comes up on any of these cars looking the dogs... agreed slightly over done with the black on above on some parts but must be a serious headturner..nice

It wasn't meant to come across as the LM's are too plain!

The LM's are a beautiful, and at the forefront of alloy wheels, no doubt.

All I meant was that the polished ones really suited that imola car, along with the drop in height!

Seems I have upset the LM brigade! Plus they're very common especially in the VAG scene

Twin pipes - they look amazing on the B5...
That Black RS4 is one nice looking car, (eyebrows aside!) the grill sets it off - moody

The B5 and LMs were made for each other IMO! When i was searching for my dream RS, I collected loads of pics etc with the LMs on the B5, got couple more pics of that BLACK RS as well as the YELLOW one and a couple of REDROCKET's (hope you don't mind)

i think when you have these wheels on you must lower the ride height at the right amount as thats what sets them off from ALL the other alloys out there. And another thing i have noticed is its all the Chrome finished ones that look just that little bit better..

Hit the nail on the head on both accounts!

Couldn't have put it better myself, and that is why the black and yellow examples look so hard!

I've got what can only be described as an LM love affair... as soon as I've got some more suitably sized rubber on the 8.5x19's and the the right spacers I'll post some pictures of my B5 looking very pleased with herself....

In the meantime here's a snap of my R32 looking suitably happy ;-)

Split and painted - black centres!

While I'm thinking about it does anyone know the current situation with BBS - are they producing LM's again? I've read conflicting stories about how they went bust and haven't really recovered with the Belguim company that took them over last year....?

BBS are continuing to produce wheels.

There have been some issues during the early part of last year. Since the take over by Punch International, normal supply has resumed in the three main areas (Motorsport, OEM and Aftermarket wheels).

I am the factory recognised importer of the BBS range in the UK mainland. Supply from BBS Germany is very good with lead times are around 5 days for out of stock items.

A typical set of BBS CH`s 8.5x18 will cost £1300. Including delivery BBS fitting kit, BBS valves and BBS locking bolts.
