My fronts used to growl and howl like bl**dy banshees under heavy braking. I thought it was all due to the type of material used and lots of heat build up.

Changed the setup to RS6+ (courtesy of MRC) and everything been fine since.

Doug, Aren't you running these on your car? or have you changed since the pic's on your site and the RS246 meet last year?

If you want to save a couple of quid - have them skimmed on the car by a Pro-Cut system or simular. Should stop any small vibrations caused by slight warping or surface distortion.

Otherwise go for the B7 version, easily fitted and good value with stopping power.

I would say if the disc's aren't shot when doing the upgrade I would stick with the standard ones, then upgrade to the B7 disc's when the time comes that you need them. Though having said that you could sell your old setup for more money if it isn't completely worn out

Yeah I appreciate your dilema on maintaining a FASH. I have the same issue myself. My decision is made slightly easier as my Specialist is near 2hrs away if he was closer I wouldn't hesitate to have him service my car as the stealer servicing is pretty shoddy and a piss take on hourly rate.
