Incidentally, one other interesting thing about the car was the choice of tyres. I cannot even remember what they were but definitely an obscure Japanese variety which I have never heard mentioned before!!!

yeh noticed the tyres too but didnt get name prob nice and soft if jap

Even on AVS car cannot go longer than 2 years. I would have thought that the oil gets contaminated after prolonged periods, brake fluid certainly does.
Upshot would be that if not serviced before 2 years then the warranty would be voided.

Make sure it's not just been recovered from theft and sat in a lock up for 2 years!

I went up for a nosey on Monday but it had obviously gone, so not I.

The Mrs was happy but I too was happy as she didn't start banging the pans about at the idea of me changing my car for one 'exactly the same only more expensive'.
