Did it as soon as I got the car mate, along with the front bumper and both wings. I can't stand imperfections !

Me too with the tailgate handle bubble.

But thanks for paving the way for me - Guildford Audi did mine under warranty without a murmur.

They also claim that said trim piece is made of Aluminium. Can anyone confirm or deny? Actually thinking about it I should probably just pop down to my garage with a magnet this evening.

Cheers, Richard.

Am thinking about getting my rear bumper resprayed (a combo of London drivers and previous owner's dog) and maybe the front too. Is there anything you can do to make it more resistant to scratches etc (have seen reference to Armourfend?). Any idea what I should expect to pay?

Spoke to the chap at Hurlingham - was very helpful.

Thanks

I have armourfend on the front bumper, side cills, front of rear arches, and top loading lip of rear bumper.
It stops casual scuffs but won't stop big scuffs (e.g. a wall !)
Putting bags in & out of the boot, and peoples shoe marks on the cills are dealt with
no problem though.

Do a search to find prices and a pic showing which bits they cover.
three of us had our cars done at the same time to cut costs. If you go to their factory somewhere north of london it will save you the cost of the callout.
