I'm the second owner of my Sept 2000 RS. I believe a number of minor items were replaced/repaired with the only major items being a new clutch at 25K a new battery and one alloy.

I contacted the previous owner about the clutch. He was furious that Audi would not replace as the car was still under warranty. They told him it was his driving! He told me he has owned 4 brand new performance Audis prior to his RS4 and never put a clutch out of any!

Touch wood in the 3 1/2 months of ownership my baby is running fine.

Owned the car for just over 2 months.

Failed MOT on Mon 1st March.
Passenger seat jammed.-fixed warranty
Engine oil temp problem-faulty water pump.
Rear wishbone bushes worn need replaced.
Problem with the air-con system.-fixed warranty.
Car going back in a week to get the balance of repairs carried out and the bendy wheels swapped out for the hard ones.
Oh and the brakes started playing up today...just as well it goes like sh*t or i would get rid of it.

Ben,
When running on econ mode the car would start to steam up quickly, this could only be cleared by selecting auto.
Garage sorted it out(cant recall what they did).
cheers
Frank
