http://www.mytyres.net (the UK site of ReifenDirekt.com from Germany) quotes :

- £ 190.80 £ for a Yokohama AVS SPORT 265/30 ZR19 89Y RPB.
(doesn't sound like AML though).

- £ 172.20 for the Toyo PROXES T1-S 265/30 ZR19 93Y Rim-protection.

- £ 205.40 for the Bridgestone S-03 Pole Position 265/30 R19 93Y RF

Prices includes postage, packing and VAT within mainland UK.

Eric
PS : make sure you select "Category 1" as the tyre category when launching a search.

Yoko AmL are 93Y rating

can get Toyo for £171 fitted

didnt get a price for the bridgestones but mention of around £200 - what does RF mean? high load?

all prices fitted by elite tyres in reading, berks

elite
Can't beat a bit of boost!

Jesus 'kin wept! Hmmm, since its regarding tyres, I suppose the phrase "reassuringly expensive" is appropriate

304 is a little bit too much, I would say.
Yes Bushy, RF means reinforced, same as XL or EL (Extra Load).
What's that?

Michelin PS2 for 330,- EUR in germany, sounds better, doesn't it?
http://www.autothek-tyres.de/english/
And there IS a Yokohama 265/30 YR 19 AVS SPORT 93Y EL (no AML) too.
What's that?

Hey Jan, would you say the Michelin was a better tyre than the Yoko, say for combined road driving and trackday use?

I am now utterly confused.

And as I now have three illegal tyres I might have to get 18" one now cos the Sportec still haven't turned up

What do I pick?

Andiroo,
I really don't know. Well, the yoko is rather old, the michelin PS2 is brand new, it SHOULD be better. But I have never driven anything else than my stock PZeros on RS4, so what can I say?

Thorney,
I'm not shure if I have understood. What's the problem?
What's that?
