Some idoit scraped the front spoiler getting it onto a transporter, the rest was down to stone chips and I suppose general wear and tear.

I used to work with the Genral Manager and know John Fox of John Fox Audi, who got the car from Lomand Audi for me. They have seen the way all my car are kept and decided to do all the work I required after I had looked over the car for two weeks.

Not bad hey!!!

Have watched video of the 180mph on last years trip to Germany, however I have managed to get it up to 187 on the A46, in the dark and damp, but ran out of road before turning of to Nottingham.

Am taking it to Switzerland in December, no fun as will have wife and two girls, but at the end of January I will be taking it back to see Father Land with brother-in-law and will definatly have some video of that. Want to see 200mph on the clock !! If thats possible???

Hi Andiroo,

Have heard a lot about your RS4. Not many going around with NOZ. At the moment I am having the under arch cover replaced, so will let you know if there is any differance. Although with the venting it seems that water and grit makes its way onto the discs easier. We will see.

Guess this must have been the Flintham to Bingham stretch?
Welcome on board

A genuine 200mph, never mind just on the clock is possible.... with the rev limiter raised just that little bit further

Hi Tim,

When you say 'raise the rev limiter just a little bit further' how much are we talking?

When I finally find out what has been done to the chip and by whom, I plan for Scott from AMD to have a go on it. They did my old S4 and got some fantastic results - 365bhp & 378 ib ft torque with a re-map and full exhaust system. Went like a rocket, but got burnt out by some ba****d. Never mind had GAP insurance and now have the RS4.

I take it from your lat and long you live down near Turnbridge Wells?

H'mm the A46, I was taking it out for a little run, came down the A606 from Nottingham down to the first turning A6006, which is where the karting and hotel is, and then gave it a blast back to the A606. A total run of about 3 1/2 miles which you can't take flat out all the way due to hill crest, but managed to get it up to speed to check wheel balance and brakes.

The car was previously chipped by Kim Collins at Quattro Sport, top bloke and the car was running very well, not sure if the chip was removed or not before he sold it

Hope this helps

Cheers

Hi Bushy,

As usual you are 100% correct. Have just spoken to Kim regarding the cars spec., and where to go next.

Brakes, turbo's in that order I think. I'd like to see 500bhp, but don't want to lose reliability and longevity.

Will be talking to Kim and others at the Audi Drivers meet at Castle Coombe, and will be interested to see how the original brakes stand up to the track.

Not wanting to drag this on too long, but have just looked at the MTM video gallery with them putting ice into the fog light grills, I would imagine to aid the cooling of the ic's. You could, if you were inclined, use a gas, maybe CO2 to do the same thing. It might be taking it a bit far though

The answer is IMHO the brakes don't, best way first time out 7 laps, next time 5, then soggy as a pair of old grannies pants for a week

IMHO some of it is the brake fluid but here are different ideas on this, personally I have .5 fluid which helps

Good luck with the mods, hope to make it myself to CC

Cheers

You can get fully sin. stuff, at about £40 per litre, I wonder if that would do the trick?
