Thank you for posting these.

I'd no idea the M6 would be so fast. Hugely impressive.

Talk about resetting the bar height!

coo- very impressive - but the RS4 still does it with more style ! Is the M6 AWD ? - and I bet they cost a tad more than an RS4 ....

Just had a run with a M3 today - you know how sometimes it just happens - good twisty road (no faster than 130mph) I know well, think he did too. Result was he couldnt lose me and I had to lift a little a few times ... good fun though, and well driven by the M3. However when it started to rain he did back off considerably ! - 4 wheel drive still wins !
However that M6 looks a very different propsition ......

Boris, M6 is RWD (all BMW's are I believe, except the Mini's of course) - yes 4WD drive wins

I assume you're not in the UK and that "twisty road" was an obscure autobahn or something similar, where such speeds are allowed...?!

The latest M5 is indeed a 5 litre V10, and also RWD

Can that be right? I have a 'mere' stage III car that is supposidly able to near enough stay with a 911 TT in (a straight line at least), and it feels like it would, yet the Porker is being murdered by the M6 which then slaughters a 500+ bhp RS4... Doesn't add up
RS4 B5. Where it all started.
RS6+ Never to be replaced.
Replaced by: 997 Turbo. Didn't like.
Replaced by RS6. I like(d).
Land Rover Defender. Not as nippy.
Back with C6 RS6
And again C7 RS6

Yes, but it seems that this M6 has been tuned to something crazy like 780bhp!

I agree. I can't believe that the M6 is standard. The 996 TT is a sub 10
second 0 - 100 car. The M6, according to what I can find, takes
just over 14 seconds to get to 124. I can imagine that it would be close
between the 996 and the M6 upto about 150 - but those videos were not
close.
