Tyre size

Post by gmac215 » Wed Sep 28, 2005 4:31 pm

I am currently importing a set of 19inch chrome DUB wheels from America
As they are coming without tyres, what tyres would best be suited.
255/35/19 or 265/30/19
I am aware that they both fit but what would be better.
As i am worried about the higher profile fowling the wheel arch.

I use 265/30 but my rims are 9.5. You need to be careful you dont change the rolling radius too much, my speedo still reads within 2 mph of Gps so it must be nearly right.

265 seems a little wide for 8.5 inch. 265 cm = 10.4 inches.
