Hi Dave, glad you got it sorted! dont know position of the MAF, but on the Porker it's a big problem if you use Filters that need oiled, The MAF sensor picks up a greasy film which in turn gives false readings!

Anyway, I still have my problem with lack of boost, it's in the Porsche garage at the moment and they are also removing the engine to repair a small oil leak (gasket gone) which is a common fault!

Hey dude, you're supposed to be on Holiday !!! :bigwave:

Mee too - about the MAF, I ruled it out because it was new !!! Anyway, as soon as I saw the bad values I pulled over unplugged the MAF and finally the baby was back to steam.

I already digged the invoice out - I bought it on the 20th of last month when I had my diviation error. I should never have changed the MAF in the first place. But then I've learned a lot about the RS4 technik in those 4 weeks. :boots:

I'm "looking forward" to explaining AUDI that the part broke that quickly. Hope they don't give me rubbish !!!

I'm off on hols in 2 days and it's good to know what's wrong... I wouldn't have been able to enjoy my hols without knowing.

Mihnea, I give you a shout when I'm back.

Stay focused,
Dave

Yeah,

It seems MAFs don't like oiled Filters. And sometimes cleaning helps. But in my case the thing when bust from one second to the other and it only shows about a third of the air that flows through. So, I guess that's more likely to be broken rather than dirty.

Sorry, to hear about your misery. What common gasket went bust there ?

Dave
