Picked my RS4 today so add my details to the register John - Avus, MTM 458, Short Shift

I didnt really open the car up on the test drive but after my first afternoon with the car I love it - what a machine

I was always concerned the jump from my S4 Avant to the RS4 would not be all I hoped it would be - how wrong I was - I should have got one a long time ago!

Sure Phil,
if people want to mail me with the same set of details I've requested for the RS4 (chassis#, reg#, options, etc), that will be fine.
I need someone to tell me what the official options were though, so I can set my spreadsheet up accordingly.

Cheers,
John.
p.s. I'm still awaiting onfo from some of the regular RS4 posters

John, its not that I dont want to give my details out for the register (i trust you and also understand what your doing ), it's just that at this immediate moment in time I have no intentions of selling my car......Therefore, any details I give will be of little use to anyone other than me...... soon as i come to sell (if) then I will pass them on no probs

thanks

Gav,
I understand what your saying. I suspect this is why some others have not responded.
It would be handy to know the details though mate. You may not get any benefit directly,
but lets say for example another person provided car details with the same chassis number
as yours. If I don't have yours I can't tell you something fishy is going on...

John, I took the decision not to chase people just yet. If people haven't responded then they
have their reasons (just as Gav does above), but be assured I will start sending Pm's soon.

I have created entries for all the cars I know about (from here, scanning autrader, etc), so
what I need is confirmation from owners that the specs I have are correct, plus the info I can't
find (chassis number, previous owners & registrations, etc).

As simon said it is a gutty job, but hopefully it will prove its worth one day.

Thanks Geoff.

JR, can you mail me details of your car please.
I assume you left your 'JER' reg on it ?
So far I've not seen it around my area, and no new members told me about it.

Cheers,
John.

How is the Register going now - how many owners have logged their cars with you to date?

Hi Paul,

sorry for late response - been away on business.

Currently we know of over 100 uk registered cars (includes cars advertised for sale in autotrader adverts, sightings of cars, etc) plus a further dozen or so from other countries.

The response from forum members has not been great to be honest. I would guess we have full details of less than 25% of these, and partial details of a further 50%.
I have not chased people for info as yet.

Cheers,
John.
