Aerial

Post by bobjebb » Wed May 04, 2005 6:32 pm

Came home to find it's been chewed in half by the dog.

Presume they're bog standard things that can be picked up easily?

(The dog has been put to sleep)

I have a spare one if you want it, they are £40 odd from Audi, last time mine was in the garage, the carwasher removed it when washing the car and lost it.... Audi replaced it.... found the original down the back of the seat the next time I was hoovering crisps out the back of it......... :biggrin3:

It was inside at the time. The aerial I mean, not the car....

Cheers Simon, How much you asking? For the Aerial I mean, not the crisps.

I might be interested in the crisps if they're cheese and onion flavour...

Bob,

I found that the original Audi Bee Sting would bend and <beep> the car at about 130 or so - so changed it originally for a very short item purchased on eBay from a chap in the father land. He promised that I would not loose any quality in reception - but as I thought the only radio station I could get was severn sound!!.

So ended up with A CIVIC Type R aerial, about £29.00 from the Honda Garage. Recepetion is Good and car looks alot better with it. Would take a picture but car is still at the garage being mended... :boohoo:

Thanks guys. Living in London, 130 is just a number on my dash. And at 11mph I don't get too much problem with wind. Simon has kindly sorted me out, perhaps I could get it to bend a bit on my way back from Bicester on the 20th...

Tayto's, I'm sure you would get a good price on ebay for some of them.
Far better than Walkers. What about some Tayto Snacks, were there any of them up for grabs.

Must be careful, I think we should either move this to the for sale section or pay for advertising.

You can order Tayto on-line at www.tayto.com. £10 for a box of 40. Yum yum
You never really learn to swear until you learn to drive.
