It's a difficult one, I'm torn between keeping them secure so that if someone breaks in to get what they can, they don't find the keys and think wahey, I'll have the car as well. But if they're breaking in specifically to get the keys, I'd rather they were in the open so that they would hopefully do minimal damage to any people or propery in the house and just leave quickly.

Really sorry to hear of your bad news. Really hope the car is recovered in one piece soon for you. Probably worth looking out for Goodwood Green cars rather than the Reg....may have been replaced with duff plates. Also watch out for penalty tickets coming through your door if they've kept the original plates on.

Im sorry for your troubles Romario.

A goodwood RS4 was advertised for sale in local Aberdeen paper yesterday on a Y plate ( maybe false plate?). Coincidence??

PM me chassis number and other spec and I can check out for you if you want, happy to help.

Thanks for your support, PM sent to Harry and John.
Car insured and cogs in motion. I am combing the area for the car.
Luckily I know a lot of folk around this way and as a tattoed biker (some stereotypes are true) my local clubs are keeping their eyes open too.
I'm trying hardest to get it back, my fingers are still crossed.
Surely there cannot be more than a few Green/Silver Nappa ones about

Sorry to hear this romario, and as I live locally will keep a lookout too. (It's unusual that I see another RS4, though I'm usually on the lookout.) Did they take anything else from your home? Or was the car targetted?

...Paul.

Any update on this ... has the car been recovered and have the scumbags been caught?

Thread Resurrection time...

This is up for sale at a car dealer. Does anyone know what state the car was in when it was recovered after the theft? any damage? I've sent the original owner a PM but I suspect he's moved on after all these years.

Any info would be useful :)

:D It's worth a go. He might pop on here from time to time or maybe another owner is on here and knows.

Jesus? Resurrection? Who's that? I'm a Jedi.

Replace Jesus with Obi-Won and you'll get the joke... but only when watching movies 5 and 6.
