I have had 176 on the satnav on the autobahn. It could have gone faster I reckon but the wife told me to slow down.

192 will be right on the limit of stock gearing and must have been a huge runway to get there! I done 204 custom 6th gear and closer to 700hp
1*** hp TTE C6 rs6 saloon and the ultimate WB B5

Yup she was flat out on the autobahn, pulled well to 170 slowly after that.It may of be running a little more power than that, that car had revo map and that run was on an aggressive setting that you could hear the turbos screeching on occasion, but I had to try it while it was legal :biggrin3:

Bit of a lightweight reply in this company I fear, but I had 155mph on a sweeping bend and seeing off an Aston Martin Vantage on the M25 at night, which I was pretty impressed with at the time. Er sorry officer, I mean approximately 70 mph.

Mine pulls to 190 fairly easily. Too much traffic stopped this run.

Should point out. That's in Germany.

So the V8 R8 which is lighter and more slippery only has a Vmax of 187mph but the heavier boxier coked up B7 will pull to 190

Ok

I did 170mph in my B5 RS4 a few years ago on a trip to the ring and Spa with a few lads from here. It was 170 gps, slightly more on the speedo and just over 6k rpm before we had to slow (car pulled out on Nige doing 198/9mph in a tuned C6 RS6) so still 1-1.2k rpm left. My B5 was stock bar a Milltek catback and air filter. The car was in great shape, well maintained and pulled well on huge rollers too. If the road is long enough without interruption I think you could see 180mph provided the car is healthy and running well.
