thanks for the response. i gen aegree if the original owner saved say £7000, and the car is now worth say 50% of its value, then pro rata it should be about £3000 cheaper than the uk dealer supplied car. as the car gets older the import stigma or reduced value should diminish with time. the question is what is a uk supplied car as before described worth in the current depressed market place ???

The market is never really depressed when it comes to RS4,s.A search on the Audi network shows only 3 to choose from.
If an Audi dealer had the sort of spec/mileage RS4 you are on about you would be looking at £36k minimum.

Autotrader has a fair few on just now,but most are high milers.
If you want a good one expect to pay for the privelage.
