Stasis coilovers and brakes

Post by urq20v » Thu Nov 18, 2004 9:25 pm

Anyone have experience using Stasis (USA) coilover suspension or brake kits on their RS4?They seem to have a good reputation in the States, but getting any response from them or their dealers seems to be a real mission!

Hi Rex

Try jason@stasisengineering.com or annie@stasisengineering.com
Replies have been a bit hit and miss since Ryan left, but Jason is his replacement and knows his stuff.
They now have a deal with APR to supply their stuff so may not deal direct.
Kit is worth waiting for though, excellent stuff.

Thanks Prawn!I first contacted Stasis by email.I waited 2 weeks and got no reply so I rang them.I was told my enquiry had been forwarded to APR.Of course, there has been nothing from APR!!
I have since contacted Achtuning and received a reply saying they can supply.I am now waiting for export pricing for the Tracksport setup.I will keep you posted.

if you are going to all that trouble, it would be worth finding out what it would cost to get the Öhlins based set up as well. NZ roads are very variable in quality. Many of the back roads are quite demanding above 200kph, so a really good set of amazingly adjustable shocks is worth paying for as they can be so completely adjusted and will stiffen up nicely for Mansfield or wherever you go for track days.
