Audi Warranty ??

Post by sjcrewdson » Sat Oct 30, 2004 4:31 pm

General Q & A session -

My best man is about to plunge £27k into a 2000 X plate with 63k on clock with FASH, can he still purchase the Audi warranty from a dealer of his choice ??

Quick reply required is at all possible :?:

Cheers

With that amount of miles I'm not sure...best bet is to phone a dealer if you need a quick reply.

My RS4 warranty covered me untill 100K (cost me of course) so I think he will be able to purchase.

If it's private call Listers Coventry.
If it's from a dealers, then ask the dealer, and then ask Listers.

Seems Audi will cover cars beyond 60K provided you pay £125 for the inspection, and that the car has been previously covered.. I guess they will look at whether you have claimed previously and then rufuse cover if you have :audibash:

Many thanks for all your replies, yes he agreed £26.5k yesterday, it's Dec 00 in black in the Chorley area, demo + the seller, who's 62 years young (respect!).

Cool...I'm sure he'll love it

Chorley...close to me.....tell him to get to the next Northern meet (keep an eye on the 'Trackdays and Meets' section) - he can sample the mixed grill of joy !

Many thanks to all the replies. I am the proud owner of the RS4 (silver not black). I have been offered a warranty for £900 at my local Audi dealer without even seeing the car! (they had all its history on computer) and a big thanks to sjcrewdson (Steve you'll :D have  to  get  one!!!!!)
