You'll be banned at anything over 4k in top gear on the motor way if a bobby catches hold of you.
Too much is bad.
Plenty is better.

I had 7k in 5th in mine on the A3 today

I know Iain's car from when JohnH owned it, and it was treated like a baby most of the time. When he took it out of the garage though it wasa different story :bigblink:

Seriously, if Iain decided to sell it you would be hard pushed to find a better car (IMHO).

Oh, and as for the modding issue, I chose to buy a totally standard car, and given the choice now in hindsight I'd have probably picked a modded car with decent history.

Cheers,
John.

Driven like the car should have been I presume, as in TarmacTerrorist's post?

Thanks for the advice. Iain (the owner) seems a good guy, I do not know about the 2 previous owners.

I agree, save some money and go for Iain/JohnH's old car. I reckon you would have to spend another £7.5k on top of a standard one to get it to current spec of the modded one.
No sig, no RS4 anymore

JohnH,

Sorry, not inferring anything, I've just never met either yourself or Branco. I'm sure you're both very nice!
