Just bought my RS4 and need advice on upgrades please.

Hello, I have just bought a 2002 RS4 silver with 10,000km and want to know your opinions and comments please on the different power packages and these are the ones I have seen around:

Oettinger 517 PS (what is the difference between HP and PS?)
MTM ~458 hp
Any other?
Quattro suspension $$$????
Camber Kit $$$???
Brakes $$$???
Exhaust $$$???
DAHLBACK RACING?????
Clutch$$$???
Intercoolers$$$???
How much is the price for this kits if anyone has bought them?
I live in Dominican Republic and the fastest cars around in order are:
Lexus IS300 turbo: 475 HP
Porsche TT 475
Porsche GT2
360 Modena 400HP
Honda 520 Hp
My RS4 is the only one in this country and would like to go in the Charts as #1 ! So any help will be greatly appreciated!

I can only say thatthe MTM kit is the way to go
Only because of where you are and how it performs
out of the box.
Also you do have issues with temprature and humidity
I know that Quovadis is having problems in Miami.
So please speak to hom as he has a lot more solutions to your problems.
BTW you are the 1st RS246 member in DR

Temperature and humidity here are issues I have to be carefull about.
Can you share with me what prices you paid for your upgrades MTM, MOVIT, Suspension and forge diverters?
This will help me a lot finding out what I should pay for them.
I hope to have all the Information possible to get around 500 or over 500HP, which is what I really want!! Do you know anyone that has gone over the 515HP+ area?

I bought an rs4 about 4 months ago and loved the car, i wanted to upgrade it so looked around and for me the best option was the revo software upgrade so off i went and my god has it improved the car!!!!

i am around the 430 bhp mark and 500 nm torque but the best thing is it took 4 minutes to do no replacing the chip undetectable by audi alows me to change boost setting and switch the car off and I mean off even with a key you cant start the car so very safe if you are leaving the car.

Good luck whatever you choose but think about the revo upgrade its great.

I think as you rightly say the initial upgrade by Revo is as good as the others but I assume what JJB is trying to achieve is over 500bhp which starts getting to be a bit more than just a remap

I alledgedly have 529bhp and 680Nm

This was done with new Turbos, new manifolds, tanoga flywheel, uprated clutch, cylinder head work,full milltek exhaust and a remap

Still running it in but it feels Awesome

There is no difference, PS is just the German expression for Horsepower=HP (Pferdestärken=PS).

I thought that there was a slight difference, as in the RS6 is 450ps, or 444bhp.

There is a slight difference. Ps is something like BHP X 1.0345. Can't recall the exact calculation but i'm sure there is a slight difference.
