Service Help needed

Hi all,
Im needing to give a bit of attention to my Black B5, she has done 93000k, and is due a proper service, the last one was at Halesowen Audi, in 2009 at 89000k. Half a new exhaust and back discs, came to about £1800.00 I need to have the cambelt done, it was done at 60,000 and i guess these cars need it done more often that other cars. There is also an oil leek in the engine get a faint burning smell on longer drives, and the steering is making sqeekes at full lock. I know this could be expensive, where is the best place to go. I intend to keep the car for a while now, so want to sort it out properly.

Its got full Audi stamps so far, but would prefer a proper independant if they are used to the older cars.

I am in the B17 area of Brum. Any advise much appreciated!

Take a trip to MRC Tuning in Banbury. They will look after you very well

Hi there,

Normally cambelts are due at 40k and 80k. And maybe every 4/5 years. Don't worry about the squeaking steering, as far as i know rs4 b5's all squeak on full lock and it isn't a problem.

MRC is def the place to go, they know these cars like the back of their hands, and just down the road!
