New RS4 rims, any tips and suggestions?

I'm going to buy brand new rims to my RS4, to use in the summer. My dealer says there arent many rims that will fit my car, since I want to have 19". Personally, I think he is mistaking. He found totally 3 rims that fis my RS4, two of them was 18", the second was 19" (but it was ugly)

Therefore I ask you carguys what rims you know of that will fit my car? Any pictures? Rimsitse? Rimships? Etc etc? I will appreciate all help.

Depends what kind of style you are. If it´s racing, go with the lightest on the market ( OZ racing. com). But fot me, the sportec 19 " is are the best ones for the RS 4.Have a look and tell me what you think. You can get those at www.supremepowerparts.com with ERIC

I think you will find that is Sportec or MTM rims most RS4 owners go for, i.e. AMD or Kim Collins.

I have the Sportec 19inch with the 20mm spacers. They really do make the car but beware the rims extend further than the tyre, if you are prone to touching curbs it will become expensive.

Chubby: Yeah, I know. With bigger rims, there are also lesser rubber on the tires. It means less space from the ground to the rims. Now I get a little uncertain. Should I get the 18" or the 19" rims. The chance of getting the rims bent with 19" are bigger, right? But how big is the chances, exactly? In Norway, we have poor roads with bumps, holes etc.. and I don't know if I want to risk it. But hey, 19" looks so damn nice too :\

They sit between the RIM and the HUB, and push the outside of the wheel further out. you need to use spacers when you dont have the correct Offset wheel for your car.

Semi common to use them.

Some git broke into the S4. I was told by the Cops that they can arrest anyone carrying the surgical plastic gloves, however if you have a box of swan Vesta's and lighter fuel they cannot.

So leave your finger prints all over the car and set fire to it!!! [img]images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

Will try now to remove one and put another back on give me 10 minutes.

try rondell 0022s they look like the oem rs6 alloy and come in 16",17" and 18".not sure abut 19" though.failing that,try the 18"compo alloys from the a8.they would look quite nice.

IMHO 18 or 19 inch if you hit any pot hole hard enough you can bend a rim. I have found the 19's to be just as good if not better than the 18's. And they look sooooo much better!!! [img]images/graemlins/jump.gif[/img]
