what where you driving in Saf?

good dit by the way...

HERE'S ONE I was going to see David Corfield last weekend at a motorway service stn on the M74 anyway my girlfriend came for the ride and as we transited the A70 we approached 2 cars that had left the road but the 1 in front was just scrabbling back on as we arrived... I said to Helen that I recognised the reg number of the Astra... it was my rozzer neighbour, they had spun on diesel on the road and went off!!!!! I asked him if he was speeding, he wasnt amuzed. Mind you his car is a bit of a bling chariot. :biggrin3: I got out to look at his car and didnt see any signs of fuel on the road.

I offered to pull him back onto the road but he said the RS4 would probably pull the car apart... sounds like a good plan then :bigblink:

lol @ the RS4 would propably pull the car apart

I was driving my S4. Only 350 HP, but the noise it makes is mental.

Also, a lot faster than one of those Astra 2.0 they use. They horned. I obliged. I think I had time for a quick snooze before they came past me. :sleeping_2:

traffic cops trying to coerce(sp) bigger faster cars into speeding or careless driving........ never! just watch out for two cops in an unmarked black 6 series on the m6/m5 around birmingham. they don't play by the rules.
done the jap thing, trying the euro thing!

Got done last month doing 86mph on the A27 by a camera van at the bottom of a hill- sneaky barstewards- after a 2000 mile mercy dash to Italy to pick my daughter up near Venice in a hurry when the ash cloud came down.....
Had been cruising the autoroutes at about the same speed on the cruise, never a sniff of les gendarmes- and 35mpg to boot.....
