well he bought it for under 10k and has spent nothing on it to make it saleable - what a wanker

there are other cars out there in a better colour, don't give up. i have been looking for ages!

especially annoying when you travel a long was to a dealer who states on ad that "All our vehicles are prepared to the highest standard" when i personally did not believe that particular car was.
As you say - if it was bought for that money (he says he has had cambelt etc done) but he has had it 6months anyway.

Sounds as though you've made the correct choice! I experienced a similar situation and didn't walk away – has cost me dearly!!!

TBH I truly believe you get what you pay for – esp with an RS4.

interestingly enough this car has been sold, wrapped in matte black and now up for sale on ebay at 15k

An interesting approach... wonder if they wrap the door shuts and inner wings too ?
Anyone know what this is likely to cost (getting bad ideas for my project R32) and need to weigh up the re-paint costs of some carbon panels over a wrap.

i emailed the seller and asked aboiut the door shuts etc, he said no as it was very expensive to do that

there was a thread / gb for getting wraps in the RS6 C5 and RS4 B7 forums, prices for the 6 will be a bit more than a B4 RS4 i would have thought
