Jumpy idle

Post by Sql_RS4 » Wed Feb 03, 2010 5:17 pm

My idle got a bit rough and shaky, constantly changing between 740-800 rpm or 760-800 rpm I don't remember if it was 740 or 760.

Anyone experienced this?

Wonder what can be done and what causes this...

Thanks in advance.

You could try to clean the throttle body, and then adapt with VCDS

OR maybe a air leak. Again go via measured block values on VCDS to check.

Right after my n249 delete (straight line to dv's), my jumpy idle was gone.
