Help!! RS4 Gearbox

Hi guys, need a little assistance, was wondering if anybody on here has the part number for the gearbox repair kit from audi for the 1st and 2nd gear syncros, hub and rings.

i rang audi and they have no knowledge of it.

any help will be much appreciated.

This is the repair kit, so make sure before you order, you check what's inside the kit.

The part number denotes a repair kit.

I do have all the individual part no's somewhere.

sounds like the 1st and 2nd gear synchro hub locking collar is jamming up,there are modified parts available from audi at about £400 (collar and synchros).the box requires a strip though to fit these parts,check out the jhm site they have a video of this.
before you rip out the box though the first thing to check is that the linkage to the lever is ok and operating the selector shaft in the box

But depending on mileage, you would most likely replace other parts? I thought the JHM kit included all sycros plus the shift rings, it is much more than 400?

jhm kit get s you the upgraded 1-2 shift collar full set of carbon coated synchro rings and some oil seals 900 dollars rings a bell
