ASJ engine only has 2 lambda probes and no SAI
ASJ = EU2 compliant

AZR engine has 4 lamda probes and SAI system
AZR = EU3 compliant

SAI = Secondary Air Injection system

I think the engine code is part of the V5 IIRC.

Engine code will also be in the service book (inside cover), and the other data sticker in the boot.

Will also be on the timing betl cover (LHS) IIRC

Unfortunately that's wrong ;)

Both engines have SAI and 4 lambda probes, the difference is that an ASJ ECU doesn't care about SAI or the post-cat lambdas, whereas the AZR one does, because of the EU3 emission norm.

That's concerning as the lambda\SAI information was lifted from Elsawin v3.6 :?

SAI is present on all these engines, I can't find the link to the self-study program for the B5 RS4 just now but I'm sure it's stated pretty clearly in there too ;)

Euro 2 and euro 3 emission (asj-azr) emission specs are mentioned in the RS4 training guide. Technically there are no differences
