Coilovers on your RS?

Post by juice » Tue Sep 15, 2009 2:46 am

Ive noticed on my short quest that alot of RS owners are changing there suspension set ups as they find the OEM too soft.
Looking at the options
you have
HnR at around @ 1700
KW clubsport 3 @ 1500

but has anyone ever tried these Fk conigsports? retail @ 750
or Vmax coilovers @ 570

i used to have FK highsport coilovers on my supercharged 330ci and that handled like a dream, really good kit but im wondering if anyone has them on there RS, i know there half the price but the quality of them does look good.

thanks in advance

ps: i know you pay for quality but was just wondering about the lower priced units

FK kits are superb and cost effective.
I have used them on RS4's and RS6's and never had any issues. Infact they ride far superior to the more expensive kits such as H&R and you also have the ability to adjust damping !

FK kits are known for seizing up! I wouldn't touch them, all IMHO of course!

KW are the best of are this due to their stainless steel bodies.
