Audi 8 Pot calipers fitting question and disc choice?

Post by gareth215 » Thu Apr 16, 2009 11:54 am

Hi, i just bought what I thought was quite a cheap set of Audi B7 RS4 8 pot calipers on ebay but there does not seem to be any means to bolt them to the car, I think the "carriers" must be missing anyone have any idea on a part number and if Audi sell them independantly of the caliper its self?

Also I want to upgrade the discs I understand VW W12 Phaeton disks are the same as B7 RS4 discs just without the drilled holes can anyone confirm this as they will be a fair bit cheaper.

Thanks

I believe the W12 phaeton disks are the same dimensions, but the central bell/hat is a different offset, so it would mean mounting the disk on a B7 bell. I remember hearing some discussion on this but don't know if any got fitted.

You should know nothing is cheap for these bloomin things
I've got what i thought to be a few bargains in the past but it never seems to quite work out.

You'll love the new brakes though 8)
