Dip-stick needs replacement

Post by gb » Sat Aug 30, 2008 10:43 am

Guys
The plastic tip on my dip-stick is fractured, so I thought I'ld change it before I have plastic in my sump.

Does anyone know if the S4 and RS4 dipsticks are the same (ie. interchangeable) ? I haven't checked with the stealers yet, but suspect there will be a massive price difference - even if they are interchangeable!

Thanks in advance.

dipstick has part number 078 115 611 T for AGB/AZB engine codes (S4) and is the same as for B5 RS4

When the part number is the same there should be no difference in price whatever you use it for though if you ordered one from Skoda for a Superb 2.8 30v V6 you may have found it's cheaper in the past but I think they have evened it all up - now Skoda pay as much as Audi!

Yep like neckarsulm has said if the part# are the same now, it will be the same price

The Skoda price has probably risen due to the newer TPS setup.
